Fail, it’s not working, barely can get the game run through shortcut, i had to open game through OLGame launcher or OLGame MS-DOS file type, even those barely opened, showed “stop working” error screen. When i got in, i can’t get further than New Game, cause then i see a loading screen, then some sound of driving, then some “bump” sound, after that, black screen and no sound, all i can press is Esc and navigate myself through option settings, open journal or log file and some other stuff, but no game sound nor picture, justblack and unplayable.

To the guys with the black screen audio cutting out issue: 1. Open the game and enable subtitles.

Start a new game. Audio will cut out and screen will go black but the subtitles will be visible. When the subtitles vanish, the black screen will come up once again. Wait until a note will pop up (about 5 minutes). Close the note and wait until a camera interface shows up. The camera interface will close.

Wait some more, until in the bottom left corner “saving” will appear. “Saving” will vanish and you’ll have only a black screen with a grey dot in the center. Click “Esc” and press “Save & exit”.

Load your lastest save. The game should work correctly. Tested on Windows 8 x64 and it’s working. Hey guys here’s the solution when a loading circle will appear and some audio will start to play but will then cut off and nothing but a black screen will show.

You can still press escape to bring up the pause menu but will be unable to do anything else. The screen will still go black and the audio will cut out but the subtitles for the section will still play. After this the screen will stay black for a couple minutes (6-7 maximum, i went and got some food) after this a letter will come up on the screen, close the letter and wait for the camera interface to show up. The screen will still be black and when the camera interface goes away it should say saving in the lower left of the screen. At this point the screen should be black with a grey dot in the middle, you should now be able to hit escape and save and quit. Press continue at the main menu and it should load up the first checkpoint with full visuals and audio.

Activate subtitles, when you start the game, ou see the black screen but you can see the subtitles in bottom of screen.wait for 2, 3 minutes until the subtitles disappear.after 1 minute that you see only blackscreen, push the left button of the mouse (with predefined controls), and a letter appear in the middle of the screen. Press the button continue and wait another minute. After this you see the characters’camera with battery state, rec time excpress F to acttivate night vision, than press right button of the mouse to put it awayafter this press esc and save and then press continuethe game starts normally and you can see everything, probably is a problem with the intro:) •.

Noticed a few people having the same problem as me: After turning on the generator and returning to the security room a second time (at which point you’re ambushed by the priest), we wake up in a small room. We sit up, pick up our video camera, then stand up, and boom: black screen. If you let it sit, then it just throws up the loading screen and replays the little clip of you waking up again. The trick to get past the black screen in the beginning of the game doesn’t work either. Any help would be appreciated!

Those of you having the problem with 32 bit black screen. I FOUND A SOLUTION. Here its is, when the game begins there is a black screen and we all know by now how to surpass it.

However, it happens a second time in the prison when you wake in a cell injected some shit by that damm good for nothing priest. What you need to do now is do a clean install again. I repeat DO A CLEAN INSTALL AGAIN. You may back up your save files but i dnt think that will help. Anyways, after the install go to this link: it will give u an update + crack. The steam.api file is a trojan delete it. JUST COPY the OL.exe file to your game directory.

Inside win32 folder. Lighting Reality Keygen. BEGIN a NEW game. This time YOU WILL EVEN GET TO SEE THE INTRO! Of the journalist driving towards the asylum.

I advise you play it all over again. There will be NO BLACK SCREEN at any point from now on.
